ELF, a brand owned by TotalEnergies, and Alpine Racing have renewed their membership of the FIA WEC (World Endurance Championship) as part of a multi-year agreement. Alpine's A424 ELF single-seaters will join the highly competitive Hypercar class in eight races of the 2024 season, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
For more than fifty years, ELF and Alpine have shared a passion for technological excellence and competition. We are delighted to extend ELF's commitment to Alpine to the highest level of the FIA World Endurance Championship. It is an ideal platform to demonstrate efficiency, reliability, fuel economy and emission reduction. Motorsport has always been a part of ELF's history and is linked to its image. In total, the company has won eighty world championship titles in motorsport"
says Thierry Pflimlin, CEO of Marketing & Services at TotalEnergies.
We are delighted to celebrate this new milestone with ELF, who have supported us since Alpine's return to the FIA World Endurance Championship. We are looking forward to the first race in Qatar, where Les Bleus will proudly compete in the top category. Proudly, supported by our loyal partners"
